United Way community partner Black Dog Hill Shelter has already made a difference for Cathy and her 7-year-old daughter; “The people at Black Dog Hill Shelter are my angels,” she says. 

This restored farmhouse and 10-acre plot of land comprise the very first shelter for families affected by domestic violence in Chisago and Iasnti counties.
